Santa Monica Chamber Partners with California Paid Family Leave Grant to Get Money into the Hands of Small Business
The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its partnership with California Paid Family Leave Grant (CPFLG). CPFLG allows eligible small businesses in California with 1-100 employees with at least one (1) employee utilizing California’s Paid Family Leave program to apply for grants up to $2,000 per employee.

Ms. Kruger has an extensive background in business and most recently served as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC).

Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce Mourns the Loss of Community Leader Iao Katagiri
The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce today mourned the loss of Iao Katagiri, a longtime Chamber member and former Chair of the board, who passed away after a brief battle with cancer. “The board of directors of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce joins the entire Santa Monica community in mourning Iao’s passing,” said Michael Ricks, Chair of the board of directors and chief executive of Providence Saint John’s Health Center.
